Cookie Policy
This document is a current draft and is pending review by counsel.
What This Covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Book More Jobs, LLC d/b/a Trade Bookkeeping Pro ("Trade Bookkeeping Pro," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on tradebookkeepingpro.com. It expands on the Cookies section of our Privacy Policy. It does not cover the separate secure client hub, which is governed by the consent you receive at engagement.
What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Cookies let a site remember your actions and preferences over time. Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, perform comparable functions. In this policy, we refer to all of them as "cookies."
Cookies We Use
Strictly necessary. These are required for the website to function, including secure page delivery, remembering your cookie choice, and processing form submissions. The site cannot run properly without them, so they are not optional.
Analytics. These help us understand how visitors find and use the site, so we can improve it. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, which collect aggregated, de-identified usage data such as pages viewed and time on site.
Marketing. If you arrive from an advertisement, advertising pixels may record that visit so we can measure how well our ads work. These are set only with your consent.
Functional. Our chat widget uses cookies to keep your conversation in place and respond to your questions.
Third-Party Services
Some cookies are set by third parties that provide services on our behalf. Each operates under its own privacy policy:
- Google (Tag Manager and Analytics): website analytics and tag management
- LeadConnector chat widget: the on-site chat that lets you reach us
- Advertising platforms: measurement pixels, set only if you consent to marketing cookies
We do not control how these third parties use the data their cookies collect. Review their privacy policies for details.
Managing Cookies
You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the banner shown on your first visit, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser, which brings the banner back.
You can also control cookies directly in your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Most browsers explain how in their help section. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to it, so our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. You can still control cookies using the methods described above.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices or the law change. When we make a material change, we update the "Last Updated" date above. Please review this page periodically.
