Terms of Service
This document is a current draft and is pending review by counsel.
Overview
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the tradebookkeepingpro.com website ("Site") operated by Book More Jobs, LLC d/b/a Trade Bookkeeping Pro ("Trade Bookkeeping Pro," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the Site.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Site. They do not constitute a client-attorney or client-accountant relationship.
Services Description
Trade Bookkeeping Pro provides monthly bookkeeping services for independent contractors, sole proprietors, and small businesses in the trades and construction industries. Our core service is done-for-you bookkeeping performed inside the client's own QuickBooks Online file, and includes bank and credit-card reconciliation, trade-native expense categorization, job costing, 1099 subcontractor tracking, accounts receivable and payable summary, and a CPA-reviewed monthly close delivered through a white-label fulfillment partner.
Trade Bookkeeping Pro is not a CPA firm and does not prepare or file tax returns. For tax preparation and filing, we recommend consulting a licensed CPA or enrolled agent. Our sister brand, TradeTaxPro, specializes in tax services for tradespeople.
Client Engagement
A client relationship with Trade Bookkeeping Pro is established only when:
- You have received, reviewed, and signed a written Engagement Letter
- We have confirmed acceptance of your engagement in writing
- You have authorized QuickBooks Online and bank-feed access as required by the Engagement Letter
- Any required engagement fee or deposit has been received
Submitting a contact form, scheduling a consultation, or providing information on this Site does not create a client relationship or obligate Trade Bookkeeping Pro to provide services. We reserve the right to decline any engagement at our sole discretion.
The scope of services, fees, deadlines, and other material terms of any engagement will be set forth in your Engagement Letter. The Engagement Letter, and not these Terms, governs the actual bookkeeping services provided to you.
Client Responsibilities
By engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide timely access: Grant and maintain uninterrupted QuickBooks Online accountant access and active bank feeds as specified in your Engagement Letter. Delays in granting access may delay your monthly close.
- Deliver source documents on time: Submit receipts, invoices, payroll records, and any other documents we request by the deadlines in your Engagement Letter. Late documents may result in a delayed or adjusted monthly close.
- Provide accurate information: You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information you provide. Trade Bookkeeping Pro relies on information you provide and does not independently verify it.
- Respond to clarification requests: Respond promptly to any question we have about a transaction or document so we can categorize it correctly.
- Review deliverables: Review and approve your monthly close package within the timeframe specified in your Engagement Letter. Your approval confirms that the books reflect your records to the best of your knowledge.
- Notify us of changes: Promptly notify us of any material change in your business (new entity, new accounts, significant revenue or expense changes, or a new subcontractor relationship).
Service Standards
Trade Bookkeeping Pro stands behind the quality of our bookkeeping work. Our standard delivery timeline and accuracy commitments are set out in your Engagement Letter. If we make an error in categorization, reconciliation, or reporting that is within our control, we will correct it at no additional charge.
Our service standards relate to bookkeeping accuracy only. We do not guarantee any particular financial outcome, tax result, or loan approval based on your books.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Trade Bookkeeping Pro, its members, managers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this Site or our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
