Overview
Book More Jobs, LLC d/b/a Trade Bookkeeping Pro ("Trade Bookkeeping Pro," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at tradebookkeepingpro.com and provides monthly bookkeeping services to contractors and tradespeople across the United States.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or engage our services. By accessing our website, you acknowledge you have read and understood this policy.
This policy does not govern the separate client hub used for transmitting financial documents and signing engagement letters. That portal is governed by its own consent notice, which you will receive at the time of engagement.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Contact details: name, email address
- Business information: trade type, business name, state of operation
- Communications: messages sent through our contact or inquiry forms
- Financial and bookkeeping information provided during the service engagement, including QuickBooks Online access credentials, bank-feed data, receipts, invoices, and payroll records (governed by your separate Engagement Letter)
Information collected automatically when you visit our website:
- IP address and general geographic region (city/state level)
- Browser type, operating system, and device type
- Pages visited, time on site, and referring URL
- Cookie identifiers (see Cookies section below)
Information from third parties:
- If you schedule an appointment through our calendar link, our scheduling provider may share limited contact information with us
- Payment processing data is handled directly by our payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide requested bookkeeping services
- Send appointment confirmations, reminders, and service-related communications
- Process payments for services rendered
- Maintain and improve our website
- Comply with legal obligations, including applicable recordkeeping requirements
- Send periodic informational emails about bookkeeping best practices and regulatory changes relevant to contractors (you may opt out at any time)
We do not use your information for automated profiling or decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
- White-label fulfillment partner: To perform your monthly bookkeeping, we share your QuickBooks Online access and financial records with our white-label fulfillment partner under a written data processing agreement (DPA). That partner performs reconciliation, categorization, job costing, and CPA-reviewed monthly close work inside your own QuickBooks file.
- Service providers: We use trusted vendors to operate our website, manage CRM and scheduling, and process payments. These providers are contractually bound to use your data only to provide services to us.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, client records may transfer to the successor entity. You will be notified if this occurs.
Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) Safeguards Notice
As a bookkeeping firm that handles nonpublic personal financial information, Trade Bookkeeping Pro is a "financial institution" under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and the FTC Safeguards Rule (16 CFR Part 314). Federal law requires us to protect that information.
What we protect: Nonpublic personal information (NPI) includes personally identifiable financial information you provide to obtain bookkeeping services from us, or that we obtain in the course of providing those services. Examples include bank account details, business income and expense records, QuickBooks data, contractor payment records, and accounts receivable and payable information.
Our safeguards include:
- A written Information Security Program (ISP) maintained by our designated security coordinator
- Risk assessments to identify threats to client data
- Access controls that limit NPI access to personnel who need it to perform their job functions
- Encryption of NPI in transit and at rest where technically feasible
- Multi-factor authentication for systems containing NPI
- Periodic training for employees handling client data
- Vendor oversight, including DPA requirements for our fulfillment partner
- An incident response plan for potential data breaches
Limits on sharing NPI: We share NPI only as permitted by GLBA and as described in this Privacy Policy. We do not share NPI with unaffiliated third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including:
- TLS/SSL encryption for all data transmitted to and from our website
- Encrypted document transmission for financial files via our client hub
- Password-protected systems with multi-factor authentication
- Regular software updates and security patches
- Physical security controls at our office locations
Retention & Deletion
We retain client bookkeeping records and related financial information for a minimum of seven (7) years from the date of the last service, consistent with standard professional recordkeeping practice and applicable law.
Website contact form submissions and CRM records are retained for up to three (3) years unless you request earlier deletion.
You may request deletion of your personal information (subject to our legal recordkeeping obligations) by contacting us at the information below. We cannot delete information that we are legally required to retain.
Cookies & Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to:
- Essential cookies: Required for the website to function (e.g., form submissions, session management)
- Analytics cookies: Help us understand how visitors use our site (e.g., Google Analytics). These collect aggregate, anonymized data
- Marketing cookies: If you arrived via an ad, tracking pixels may record that you visited to measure ad effectiveness
You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences. Disabling cookies may limit some website functionality. We do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals at this time.

Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults operating businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
